Béla S. Kenessey, MD, a native Californian, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. After graduating from the USC School of Medicine in 1989, he attended the USC-PIH Family Practice Residency Program where he served as Chief Resident from 1991-92. There, he was honored with the Resident Teacher Award by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. Dr. Kenessey is a Clinical Associate Professor with the Department of Family Medicine at Keck School of Medicine of USC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business from UCLA, and has served on several boards. These include, San Ramon Regional Medical Center’s Governing Board since 1998; founding partner and manager of Tri-Valley Sleep Center, a sleep diagnostics lab; and previously as CFO for a community nonprofit school fundraising organization. Dr. Kenessey was elected to the Cooperative of American Physicians Board of Directors 2009-2019 representing over 14,000 California Physicians, and served as its President and Chair from 2013 to 2018. He also served as a Fellow to Board of Directors of the Physicians Insurance Association of America. His “Concierge Wellness” and family medicine practice is located in Danville, California, at the Crow Canyon Medical Center which he also founded in 2011 which includes 14 different medical practices. His primary focus has been on prevention and wellness, as well as concierge medicine. He has incorporated multiple alternative and progressive medicine modalities including nutrition and supplements, as well as medically supervised weight loss with his Choose2LoseIt™ Ideal Protein™ clinic since 2011, and since 2016 bio-identical hormone replacement therapy with BioTE™ pellet therapy.  He has performed over 10,000 pellet procedures and is a leader and mentor amongst his peers in Northern California with the BioTE™ method now approaching 2500 procedures a year. In 2021 he was awarded as a “Platinum Provider” from BioTE as the highest level of provider status whom are amongst the most experienced in the US. In 2020 he introduced a new focus on body contouring with Cynosure’s Sculpsure™ warm sculpting laser treatments for localized fat reduction, and Tempsure™ radio frequency treatments for skin/cellulite tightening and women’s wellness.
